It's my dogs birthday today!

Her name is Zeta, named after Zeta Gundam (her middle name is Gundam), and today is her 3rd birthday. She has been with us since she was 6 months old and had chicken legs. She is loud and barky; always protecting the family from knocks on the door, the leaves rustling outside, stray cats, sprinklers, and people she doesn't recognize.

If her life was like Pokemon, her rival would be the cat, Gryps (who is named after the colony laser in Z Gundam), as Zeta is a jealous-eyed puppy. Zeta also loves the youngest member of the family, my daughter, primarily because she throws her food on the ground.

Zeta is obnoxious, but I love her.

More than likely. The running joke here is that she is 'safety zetsies'. She barks so much because she is telling us to be safer in our everyday activities. "Don't run in the house." "Your daughter should eat all her food, I shouldn't have to be the vacuum." "Watch out, that leaf might kill you!"

I'm sort of excited when we get enough money to buy another sheltie. That's because we have already picked out a name, Zaku. So we'll have Zeta Zaku [ http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/zeonbas… ]. :).

Plus, if we get another cat, I want it's name to be Luna II. The U.C. has so many great names to pick from, :).
